Geo's in USA have no such light. IMMO light
the 91s in USA are simple, no magic like in EU.
its a G16a TBI engine, 8 valves,
the 2 fuses are, IG-coil and "FI"
both need 12vdc on both sides key on. or the fuse is blown.
he also need to know, the Fuel pump relay only has power
for 3 seconds key on, so run fast?
but full time cranking, does it?
the green relay below the 56Bxx ECU is fuel pump
the pink wire is pump.
at the left rear tail light is pink wired plug, that too is 12vdc cranking.

is car 2 doors? see failed pump ground screw, behind left rear tail light lens..... (not 4door)
key on for 3 seconds, this wire pink goes HOT, 12vdc.

The ecu can cut fuel, for many reasons, (inputs wrong)

lets work NO FUEL, that mean you looked down 8v Air horn and say injector dead cranking, ? or found 0psi at the fuel filter test port? we can not guess what you mean, you must say so. This injector can be seen with nake eyes, for sure, no need to guess ever. on THIS engine. G16A. my guess is you guessed.?
no my guess, (useless) the timing belt was ignored (and spark plugs) and now the cam belt slipped and will never start or if does has 1/3 power or less
if spark timing is way off, the cam did slip !
yes that is the #1 pump power 12v (blockage) on all Sidekicks ,trackers old vitara.s seen many and dang cheap fix, zero cost. no drained tanks and bs, others post. guessing. NICE WORK !

My 88 ramvan did the same thing and it was the pickup sensor in the distributor. I replaced it and everything was fine. If the sensor is bad it won't let the fuel pump run or the ignition funtion.

Try the crankshaft position sensor. Sometimes they get covered in clutch dust and the sensor cannot determine No1 cyl. and then it will refuse to start. Sometimes they go faulty as well.

If there is no power to the fuse block then there has to be a main relay check that to see if it is blown. it is usualy located in the fuse block undr the hood.
