Likely it is the same engine, but the add-ons may be different. Best way is call a salvage yard and they will have a fairly accurate cross reference for engine swaps.

Hey greenlee99, your best bet would be to grab one these manuals so that you have pictures and diagrams along with step by step instructions. It will tell you what tools and parts you need. Can't go wrong with having it.

Well first off if your only wanting a V6 an SRT4's engine is out of the question because it is an inline-4. If you still wanted to install it in your car it would be a good choice considering the power it makes stock as well as the power potential it has. If you use nitrous oxide on any STOCK motor you should be very conservative about it because you can easily blow the motor, I would say max for STOCK engine would be about a 100 shot and I would also recommend using only a 'wet kit' because it adds fuel and nitrous at the same time so less chance of your car leaning out.
