How to replace passenger side mirror ?

You will have to remove the inside cover. After removing the inside cover then use a deep socket to take off the nuts holding the old mirror on. Then unplug the wires. As you put the new mirror on make sure it is square and streight. Before putting the inside cover back on make sure the mirror is working correctly. Then fasten up the cover and clean off the finger prints.

How to replace light bulbs in a Jerdon Tri-fold makeup mirror

In order to replace bulbs, look at the back of the mirror. There will be four white circle coverings hiding the screw heads, and these must be drilled open in order to access the screws that hold the two halves of the mirror together (these coverings will not have to be replaced). Once these screws are located and unscrewed, flip the mirror back over and remove the top half. Carefully, replace the bulbs.

I need to replace the mirror of my 2007 Ford Explorer XLT as it was hit and knowcked off, hanging by the power wires. this is he Passenger side door

You can access the inside mounting bolts by removing the panel just inside of the passenger mirror...the electric plug can be unplugged without any other changes...Your mirror is of course available through your local Ford dealer...you can also try the internet to find a like new replacement mirror and head assembly...just type in 2007 Explorer passenger side mirror...Also, your least costly replacement is available at your local salvage yard...some allow you to browse, and remove yourself...(good practise before scratching yours...some yards will pull the mirror for you...you might even find the exact color...salvage yard mirror heads (electric) go for $25. to $75. Sounds like you have a good start...Hope this helps.

I have a 2006 Kia Sorento. The driver side view mirror got cracked in a minor accident. Only the mirror got cracked, but the entire casing is still in-tack. Do I need to replace the whole casing or can I...

Any shop that replaces windshields can replace just the glass in your mirror usually for around $25-$35. It's not a hard job and it takes about 20 minutes. They might even do a little better on the price if you don't need a receipt. You can do it yourself if you can get the mirror. You need some silicone adhesive, electrical tape and a couple of wood or plastic blocks.Clean all the broken mirror out and clean the glue off in the case. Run a bead of silicone around the inside of the new glass about 1-2 inches from the edge and put a couple of dabs in the center part. If your silicone is too close to the edge, when you press the new mirror on the glue will squeeze out and glue the mirror to the case. Press the new mirror into the case and wrap the electrical tape around the case and over a block on the face of the mirror. You want the tape pulled a little tight so it puts pressure on the glass but not tight enough to break it. Do this on each end of the mirror and leave it for 24 hours, then remove the tape and blocks. Hope this helps.

How do you change a headlight on a 2006 kia sedona?

Left front low or high beam headlight: remove battery, remove weather cap, pop-off 2-prong connector, depress spring holding bulb in position, use inspection mirror if necessary, one end of spring is caught beneath a lip, Move spring past lip and lift up, it will rotate upward and is fastened on opposite side. Remove old bulb, install new 55 watt halogen bulb (H7-55) available at Walmart. Install new bulb with tang in slot at bottom, fold over spring and depress to hook end under latch point, install 2-prong electrical connector, install weather cap, turn about 1/8 turn to lock into position. Reinstall battery, clean terminals and cable ends, place new no-corrode rings (available from Walmart) around battery posts, install cable ends, and tighten.

Right front headlights: not necessary to remove battery, otherwise same essential procedure.

Note: Lower and upper beams all use same H7-55 bulb.
