Peugeot 308 rear light cluster not working

My indicator was clicking at twice the speed that it should. I checked and the rear indicator was not working. I changed the bulb and now nothing in the cluster works.

The right rear cluster works, but not the left. are there more than one place for the fuses. where is the flasher unit located. None of the left rear cluster works. so i'm sure there is a loose connection or blown fuse somwhere....

SOURCE: indicators are not working

had this before where the front indicators were not working and like you it drove me mad because the vehicle was booked in for its inspection.straight away i suspected the hazard switch,Anyway i had a spare flasher unit so i changed it and they worked ,So after i came back i took the old flasher unit apart and cleaned the contact on the solonoid and that started working as well when i put it back in.

SOURCE: The headlights on my Peugeot 206 wont work

Hi it sounds like the switch for the lights, try tapping the switch see if they come on if not remove it and have a closer look at it. It may need replacing.

Hope this helps

SOURCE: no sure how to change

Before you replace them with what you got from the first Peugeot on the list, take one out and write down the brand/number and go to an auto parts store to have it cross referenced. You will be inviting trouble or even disaster by using the wrong plugs. Before you start, make sure there is no debris around the plugs that can fall into the holes and cause possible engine damage once they're removed To remove the plug, follow the ignition wires to the spark plug and pull the wire off the plug by using a pulling/twisting motion. Use the appropriate sized spark plug socket on a ratchet and remove counter clockwise. I would recommend changing them out one at a time this will preclude the possibility of mixing up the wires. If the heads are aluminum, get some anti seize compound while you're at the auto parts store and put some on the threads of the new plugs before installing them to prevent the plugs from seizing and damaging the head in the future.

Having been the GUY who changed the 3 way wall switch... because BOTH the HALLWAY lights were burned out... (situation remained in-resolved).

I always (now)
FIRST SUGGEST "one" should check those bulbs first.

Then get exotic and check the REVERSE LIGHT SWICH in the transmission.

Peugeot 308 right rear cluster not working, i've checked the bulbes and fuses that i can find

Bet no electricity reaching the cluster. Get a hold of the schematic and check out all of the components in line between the cluster and battery.and switch. And do not overlook the ground connection.

Is there an accessories position on Peugot 308 manual ignition

One stop anticlockwise from key removal position or one clockwise. Sometimes you have to press in a little. Radio should work, but not ignition lights in the speedo cluster.

2008 peugeot 308 1.6 sport, temperature reads normal, but heater only blows very slightly warm air.

There can be all sorts of other DIY's from draining, flushing and refilling system, thermostat replacing and buying a new car.
Mine from City Peugeot was going to be a £2000 fix and they didn't even know what was wrong. It was just a hail Mary.
Other things that beat them was the rear light cluster not working - £400 fix, was just a loose fuse in the glove box.
The 26mpg when it should be 43, they just say is in the ok bracket, even though I reported it within 2 months of buying and it was sold as 43mpg.
Best advice - do not buy another Peugeot. I now cycle everywhere unless it is raining. I stay local and cant afford another car. Thats all fair I suppose.

My daughter has a 206 and the left side indicators have stopped working while the dashboard indicator flashes twice the speed. Any ideas?

The turn signal bulbs are bad, and yes probably both. To Test, swap bulbs from the right indicators to the left
