You need to check your coolant, and water pump, if ok then check your cooling fan. When the car gets hot, leave running, open hood and make sure fan is working
This relay you are referring to should be in the engine compartment electrical box this is also known as the distribution box normaaly houses relays and high current fuses
Observe the car's engine as it runs for 10 minutes to ensure that the electric fan for the radiator is coming on, if not either the fan relay, fan's coolant temp. sensor, or the fan itself is bad, try the relay first it is the least expensive, if this is the type of vehicle that has no electric fan replace the clutch fan.
