I would like to replace the serpentine belt of Peugeot Partner 1.9 D. I could find the diagram by internet, but it looks the space is very tight, so I don't understand how( from where) I can reach to the pulleys. So it would be great if I could know exactly how to replace the belt. Kind regards,

Usually you start with the hydraulic tensioner, loosen that first then loosen the alternator if needed. Usually its easier to reach from underneath the car. It's a pain in the a$$ to do it yourself.

Replace serpentine belt mercedes sprinter van 313 cdi

Hey Outbackski, its not really hard to do FIRST take a photo of how the belt is routed (lots of them ),you may see a diagram under hood ,and it should show you a tentioner pulley , that does all the adjustment for you , it will have a 3/8 -to 1/2 square hole in it put your ratchet in it and eather push or pull on it and you will see you have slack in belt, look very careful how it comes off ,and replace with new one, after you get the new one on ,and your back to the tentioner ,apply force on ratchet, and slip belt over itit might be tight but it will go on if you did it right.
good luck .

My Peugeot Partner has a 1.9 diesel engine. The serpentine belt recently burst so I purchased a replacement but I would like some guide on exactly how the belt should be placed around the pulleys.

If this belt broke then remove the timing covers and check for bit of belt inside around the timing belt before you go any further .its quite easy to refit a new fan belt but they can vary with the year as earlier ones had a manual adjuster but later models are spring loaded so check the timning belt belt first then if ok answer this post and i will scan my alldata book for you as its late and iam going to bed before i fall asleep over the keyboardss

Serpentine belt replacement

2.0L Engines
See Figures 11, 12 and 13
The accessory drive belt for 2.0L engines has no provision for manual belt adjustment, since these engines use an automatic belt tensioner. Drive belt slack is taken up by the automatic tensioner.
Movement of the automatic tensioner assembly during engine operation is not a sign of a malfunctioning tensioner. This movement is the tensioner self-adjusting and is required to maintain constant belt tension.
The belt tensioner has a belt length indicator. If the indicator marks are not between the MIN and MAX marks, the belt must be replaced.
