It can be wheel out of balance,
warped brake rotor,worn brake pads hanging up, bad bearing , worn suspension components.
does it shake at all speeds? i would jack up the wheel from ground, first test wheel for wobbling and if yes bad bearings, then take of wheel and inspect brake pads for being really thin and use straight edge ruler, check rotor for straightness, either one replace pads and rotor. inspect strut for oil leakage, ect
Your rotors may be warped. remove them and put a straight edge ruler across the rotor and gauge several spots around it, if you see a difference in height from one side to the other then your rotor is warped and needs replacement.
Jack the car up and safely block it up, then grap the tire and try to shake it, if it moves in and out at all
its the wheel bearing.Worn bearing do change sound when the car is turning.
It could be an indication of a bad wheel bearing assembly. Did you check the lug nuts to be sure they are tight? It could also be the tie rod assembly. I would take off the wheel and try to move the just the hub assembly. Do you hear any screeching/squealing noises? Any popping while you are driving? Are your tires wearing? All these are classic signs of a bad wheel bearing. Any decent tire/auto shop can put your car on a lift and check the wheel bearings.
When you say shakes i am guessing the steering wheel. If it is the steering wheel shaking, it's know as the death wobble. Check the front steering components, look for worn or broken parts. Most common for death wobble are the tie rod ends, idler arm and pitmen arm. look for play along the track bars and check the ball joints.
The other thing too that will cause a death wobble is a bad alignment. there may be negative or no caster at all which would give you a death wobble.
