You didn't say the year but it should be pretty straightforward use a small screwdriver to remove the lens then remove the bulb, if there's 2 screws take them out if not look for the pry points to unsnap the lamp from the headliner there's a connector about 8 in. in so you just unplug it. I hope this helps. Take care.
Is it the third one in a row? If so, then look at the electrical to ensure that thereare no spikes of voltage going down the line that blow the bulbs. If it is the third one in a different location, you have just one more to go and all the lights will be out!
the door adjar switch is the problem. the cargo light stays on until 35mph, as well as the overhead dome light. i just took the bulb out of the dome light and dont worry about the cargo light. it stays on for 30 min after the truck is turned off if the switch didnt trip properly. it shouldnt cause any problems as long as your batteries are good. i havent replaced the switch yet but it should be on the part of the door by the latch. get the replacement part and do a visual I.D. when you get the panel off. then replace it. the sensor is only 14$
Hello. the wiring harness plug that goes into the relay panel just to the left of the brake pedal may be your culprit. . If you remove the cover of the relay panel and wiggle the wires in the big connection plug, you will likely find that your interior lights will flicker. I believe Ford had a recall on these wiring harnesses so contact a Ford dealer about that.
check to make sure your open door switch is'nt broke which is usually located vbelow where the door latches on the right side of door. if so it will have to be replaced or temporarly disconected
