I drove car on hiway pulley full off went in to the radiator
I don't think I've ever seen this happen? Whatever the pulley drives make sure nothing is froze-up. Otherwise I agree with John.
Hopefully you can get the broken piece out of the end of crankshaft and replace the radiator, yourself, that should help with costs. Yeah, if you have a shop do the work, it will cost you.
Without seeing the damage directly, it would be difficult to say. however, it could have been a faulty harmonic balancer that failed, causing the bolt to shear off or even simple metal fatigue.
either way, it will be an expensive repair

use a nice snap on breaker bar--- correct socket on bottom pulley bolt ,wedge bar into suspension the turn starter and the starter motor will crack the bolt for you ,most important is put some lock tight or contact adhevsive ,evan a bit of old paint will do when refitting the bolt

First check the ignition fuse. Under your dash should be a fuse box. Check the diagram on the cover or on the inside of the cover. Look for ignition. There is also a possability that the ignition fuse is located underthe hood. Generally on the wheel well near the firewall or towards the windshield on the right or left hand side. The cover on it will also say ignition. Let me know after you check these out and if we got lucky. I have other ideas if not. Raz
SOURCE: how do I replace the radiator in my 2004 kia
I don't currently have access to step by step instructions for your Kia Sorento, but I would imagine that it takes a standard tool ratcheting tool set to unscrew the bolts for the shroud, and lift any fans out of the way. Then, the radiator hold down hardware can be removed and the radiator should be disconnected fromt he cooling system (via the hoses) and then you can pull it out. It does not weigh much.
Installation is the reverse of the removal.

Asuming you broke it off in a blind hole, if you have a wire feed center a nut over the remaning stud & weld if on let cool put penetrating oil on it & work it gently back & forth even if its below the surface slightly on aluminum or cast the weld will not bond to the surface just the bolt you may need to do this process several times then go to dealler for new bolt. Note this works extremly well on broken ex. manifold bolts, we havent drilled in years hope this helps Danny
