I have a 2001 lincoln ls v8 my sunroof will slide back but when you close it it will close but it wont raise up to close all the way can someone help and tell me how to fix it

sounds like its a slight adjustment . There is 3 torque screws on the left and right side that you must loosen . Use a silicone lube to spray or rub on the sunroof weather stripping . place roof even or dead flush with the body of the car and tighten in the close position

Most likely a leak & low on refrigerant

Need a shop to leak check,evacuate,make repair,
and recharge

Yes both years used that engine.

hi if it's coming from the water pump then it's the water pump but to be sure you can use a piece of garden hose and put it close to where you hear the noise and listen to it through the hose

THERE IS NO MANUAL CRANK, U WILL NEED TO REMOVE THE MOTOR DRIVE AND CLOSE THE TOP, THEN REINSTALL THE MOTOR.

replace your roof relay it controls both the up / down and, forward / backward motors
