The plug wire & the ABS should not be related in any way. Unless when the plug wire burned in half the spark that could no longer get to the plug jumped to the ABS module & fried it. Anyway I would replace all plug wires. Then remove the Negative or ground battery cable for 5 min. to reset ABS module. Then reconnect the battery cable & give it a try. if the trac. or brake lights come back on you most likely have a bad ABS module & that's a very costly fix. Good Luck.

check wires at throttle body. can use a 12 volt test light to check for current. if you have spark it is not the ign module. set meter for 12-20volts. should have 2 fuse boxes on this model, one behind right side of dash at floorboard

It was the Cat. Converter on mine, Don't drive it like that too long as it will send exhaust back through the EGR Valve and burn a hole in the Intake Plenum....

The piston rings in your engine might be needed to be replaced already... go to a local shop with a compression tester.. have your engine tested for compression leaks.. if it does have compression leaks.. then you need to change piston rings. Note** white smokes = engine is burning oil..
SOURCE: Check engine light on, traction control disabled light always on
the sylinoid in the trany could be going bad
