My toyota 2008 has the vsc and trac lights on after having a wheel alignment done

Yes there is a fault. Get the DTC codes read.

Check operation and condition of ABS sensors . Also check suspension and steering components and wheel alignment then retry and report back if necessary.

I would take it back to the Lexus dealer and have them reset the computer. Tell them what you posted and they will probably do it for free

When the VSC and trac light comes on, Your vehicle enter a fail safe function the ECU rejects any open request from the VSC system and your vehicle operate regardless of ABS,TRAC, and VSC. Having it cleared without corrections will allow the light to come on. If the VSC is seeing a large over steer the VSC and trac light comes on.(even if its under steer).If the ABS ,Trac is correct you will need to seek zero calibration.This is done through the DLC connection in the hood.The easy way to reinitial lize steering angle is done by keeping steering wheel in the straight ahead position (driver window down) disconnect the negative battery, and reconnect , turn key on . The other way is to go to the engine and find the DLC again driver window rolled down steering wheel in the straight ahead position. do not shake the vehicle you must be on a true level ground. No heavy load in the vehicle and no entering the vehicle untill this is complete Turn the key on at this point you will do everything through the window you cannot enter the vehicle.in the hood where the DLC is at you will short pin Ts and CG with a paper clip 4 times repeatedly within 8 seconds. There the VSC will go to zero point.Turn key off (again turn ignition off through the window) make sure you remove the shorting out of Ts and CG. Now your done. For Rav4 use you DLC 3 its under the driver dash.As for the pin location its on the cover of the DLC 3

The Trac light comes on automatically, in conjuction with the Check Engine Light. You need your vehicle scanned for DTC codes.
