Have 1994 toyota 4runner 4wd auto with overdrive. How do you remove the shifter with the wire running threw it?

You have to pop the button out and unsolder the wires...

How to get Toyota 4Runner out of gear with a dead battery

To take the car out of P, press the red tiny button (located at the base of shift lever) and the side push button (at the side of top of shift lever) together, and shift the lever to N.

You have a 3rd generation 4runner. A second generation 4runner parts will not work on yours. You need 3rd gen parts. Although I have a second gen 4runner. Most of your parts will work on my truck. Trying to do what your asking is next to impossible without some custom fabrication

4RUNNER 2004, PROBLEM: LIGTHS VSC RAC & TRAC OFF ARE ON. BEFORE OIL AND FUEL INJECTION SERVICE, EVERYTHING WAS OK. what can i do?

it was probably missing when they did the fuel injection servivce and still had some of the chemical in the intake and set the light. i would go and let someone check the codes and clear them and see if it comes back on. this happens to me every time i do a fuel service.

I bought a '94 4runner but the control buttons on the steering wheel are worn-out so i dont know which button is for what, can someone tell me which one is cruise/and or the others? thx

maybe it is for <a href="http://www.racepages.com/parts/transfer_case_switch.html">Transfer Case Switch</a> since it is a 4runner. it is for your 4wheel drive capability. check it out.

RAC horsepower, is "taxable horsepower"
Basically all you have to find out is the horsepower of the 1991 toyota corolla with the same motor.
Which I believe(not knowing what exact motor) is 102 HP

look if you see a little red button on the center console near the lever, press it (hold) then shift to the neutral.

How do you turn off the alarm on a 1998 Toyota 4Runner without the remote? What is the sequence? The only way to stop the noise is to disconnect the battery. Can anyone help?

should be button under steering column if you find that turn ignition to on then push button

Does the switch look like an original fitting or an aftermarket one! Could it be something that has been fitted after like a towbar?

It is just like all the other buttons but on the console instead of on the dash
