Replace the temp door actuator motor,it is up under the dash ,a flat square block looking thing with 3 screws holding it on u will see two the one u need to change is usally on the bottom
There is a divert valve to con trol the flap directing the air flow thru the evaporator so you can get the air in AC mode. When the valve directs the air going thru the heater core you get hot air. The problem now is that your valve is not working. It is staying at a defaulf position directing air passing thru heater core. This is why are you enjoying the unwanted heat. Good luck in fixing it. At least now you know the problem so no one can fantacizing the work for over charged.
When my ac was blowing hot in the front the knob to switch from ac to heat was cracked on the back where it slides on to the actuatoir and was not changing it over to ac so i pulled the knob off and turned it with a pair of pliers and it worked fine after that

the vacuum line in broken, check for same, start fromthe engine compartment, check to make sure the a/c doors are not jammed. check all fuse and relays
