I just bought a jensen vm9412 stereo second hand, installed it, it wouldn't work so I downloaded the pdf owners manual where I found out 1. It was supposed to have a remote and 2. I need the remote to enter the 6 digit anti theft circuit.is there any way to disengage the anti theft feature without the remote?

Uh oh.... would have been nice to not get ripped off. Live and learn, try to get the remote from previous owner. I have actually been successful at doing this in the past. if you are lucky, you can program a universal remote to do it. I like the directv remotes cuz they're free. If you have directv, they will send you free remotes in the mail just for calling and asking.

I believe it is the 3 and 5 buttons on the radio it will bring up the #'s keep pushing them until you get your code all typed in.

you can have the vehicle towed to a dealership and at that time get two remotes programmed for the vehicle

I have a corsa c with a broken stereo i have a second hand corsa c stereo but cant get it to work by swapping it straight over any clues

you need let dealership reset radio code or check owners manual it will some times tell you how to reset radio code.
