The driver side seat adjuster cable is broke in my 2001 beetle where can I buy a replacement been looking around and cant find any thing if any one knows please let me know

I was trying to figure out why my driver seat wouldn't adjust and I noticed that the cable had broke so I been looking online and I cant seem to find any thing need help

I would go to a wreckers that wrecks your make of vehicle and get one from them. Either that or go to the dealer spares and get a new one.

i have all the info you need..had to do this on my brothers care...short answer is the cables stretch inside their housings.. once seat is removed you trim the casing around the cables 1/4 and reinstall the end caps on each one to make them match their paired partner cables..stupidest thing bmw ever did having two cables to control each movement causing the chairs to twist and buckle like that..compare at $1000 to have qualified service do it for you...

I'm assuming you have manual adjustment seats. There is a spring underneath the seat that locks the end of the lever into corresponding notches in the seat frame rail. That spring has either fallen off or broken.

Xterra seats stuck
If you look under the seat there is a cable that connects to the grab handle and runs from the left to the right of the seat adjusters, if cable falls then only one side adjuster will release and u will not be able to move seat, usually up can reinstall the cable and it's good to go, if it broke u will have to replace it.. generally u can repair it without removing the seat.

How does the trim remove to change out front seat seat belts in 2001 beetle
this case first remove cove from up side of seat belt it's look like around side up.from down side of this cover there is tow small lock with screw driver pull this side out then push up . then you can see bolt (19mm) remove , then down big cover (difrent coler) .remove tow door step cover have littile hard lock remove with screw drive it may be 3 or 4 lock for each one ,then the middle cover for seat belt have .
