They are under the steering column theres a whole set of small fuses you will maybe need tweezers or very long narrow pliars and a torch .....Its located to the right near the hinge of the acelerator pedal..its a bit of a contortion to see, there should be a cover which unclips about four inches by five, inside are the fuse numbers and ratings, there should be a couple of spares in the cover

2004 Suzuki Grand Vitara. The speedo isn't working and my radio doesn't work.

Question edited for clarity and add maker.
Question moved to model category.

There are no fuses covering those because they are computer functions

https://www.google.com/search?q=2004+suzuki+grand+vitara+fuse+box+diagram

Both are functions of the ECM and the BCM computer via sensors.

The most common reasons a Suzuki Grand Vitara speedometer isn't working are the vehicle speed sensor (VSS), a faulty speedometer, or an electrical issue.

Cigarette fuse

in the fuse box.
all fuses are covered in the operators guide, in the glove box.
lost? you should get one, so if one blows,, far from home, and stranded???/
in the box 2, in drivers cab (not engine bay)
use #25
clearly marked Cigar,radio ( clock , mirror , accessory socket )
if radio works, its not the fuse. bad lighter.

WHERE WOULD I FIND THE RADIO FUSE ON A 1999 SUZUKI VITARA?

immediately to the left of the driver's left knee is the fuse panel. the radio fuse is most likely the lowest and furthest forward one. it is shared by two other devices so if you replace it, it will just blow again. i suggest disabling the cigarette lighter, that worked on my 01. the fuse limits the current in the wire
from a device on the circuit which is drawing too much. the fuse is not bad, something else is causing it to blow out to protect the rest of the system.

Need to know where the power wire goes from the radio on a 2001 suzuki grand vitara xl7

it goes to the fuse panel which is on interior wall just left of your left knee when you sit in the driver's seat. bottom/front most fuse which it shares with the lighter and i think the power mirrors.

Blown fuse, 2002 Suzuki Vitara

Hi,

Thanks for using FixYa!

If you are suspecting that the radio, car lighter fuse is busted. You need to check the fuse box under the dashboard. Check the fuse box diagram found on the cover of the fuse box under that dash. Check if you see "Lighter, Radio" Find the fuse and use the fuse puller to pull out the fuse.

You can find the fuse puller inside the fuse box. I hope this helps.

Have a nice day.

Electrical issue

Pushing in the knob normally turns on the lamp for a clock reading. It sounds like a spike charge flushed through a capacitor and burned it out
