What does water separator symbol look like - Cars & Trucks

Add some water remover/fuel line antifreeze for Diesel engines to the fuel tank. Heet or Heat makes some here in the US in a red bottle for a couple dollars. Check or change your fuel cap. The water separator previously mentioned is a good idea if this keeps happening.

If it's a Diesel this is likely for the water separator to keep moisture out of your fuel system/engine.

water in the air ( humidity, moisture or water vapor) is everywhere and air under compression releases that moisture as water which is collected by the separator for removal either by an auto drain valve or drain tap

The blue symbol on the panel it look like water on the bottom is the "cold engine" warning lamp. If the blue water lamp lights on the dashboard panel do not raise the engine speed too much! Only under 2000 rpm, until the blue water lamp will turn off.

Does it look like a tank with a drain at the bottom of it? If so it could be the fuel filter water level warning light. This means there is water accumulated in the bottom of the fuel filter. Open the drain on the filter and catch the contents in a container. If water is present it will be noticeable as it will be separate from the diesel fuel. Replace the drain and pump the button on the top of the filter housing while starting the engine. Keep pumping until you notice the pump going hard.
Another possibility is that it is the brake light warning light, if it looks like a car with lights shining out the rear then it is possible that when you put your foot on the brake to engage the gear shifter, it picked up that there is a blowen brake light bulb. Check the bulbs. To replace them you need to pop the cover off the rear door, it is quite tight and held by many plastic clips. Some models have a provision that allows you to remove small plastic covers to access the bulbs.

That is the symbols warning of water in fuel. Generally you will need to have the fuel filter/water separator drained and replaced.
