OK so the battery is dead, won't take a charge so now i can't open the back doors to take the seat out to replace the battery. Any ideas.

Try connecting a battery charger through the cigarette lighter plug, that may give you enough power to open the doors

Door locks and dead battery

See if you can get jumper cables on the car. Hot one on the starter post where battery connects, and negative to a frame piece. You may get enough juice flowing to get the doors unlocked.

Battery dead need to get into trunk

There is a lock fixture built into the right side of the tail-light. There are accessories for maintaining computer juice. These plug into the cigarette lighter and have a 9 volt battery which should be enough to power the trunk release.
Both front doors can be opened with a key. Once inside, you can pop the hood and work on the dead battery.

Replaced battery in remote for 2006 chevrlet corvette cnvertible and it still won't open the door or tart the engine. How can Iopen the doors and the hood so I can check and maybe jump the battery

Changing the battery in the remote won't affect the programming, and neither should a dead car battery. I am surprised there is no keyed entry on the driver's door.

The battery is dead on my 2008 Ford Taurus X, the doors are locked and my keys won't unlock the door. Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated. I've already tried the key less entry. That is...

I hate the way they have incorporated these new alarm systems so that you cant open the doors when the battery is dead, some cars will lock you inside unable to open door from inside. The electric door locks are what is keeping you from being able to unlock doors. Some people go to Auto Zone and rent the tool that can be slid into the door by way of the window opening, this doesn't always work. the best way to get in is to go under the car with a set of jumper cables and charge the battery from the large battery cable that is connected to the starter.. charge battery enough to access door locks P.s. it wont take much power to use key to unlock door after the battery has a small charge..
