Check the fuses with a test light not by just looking at them.

More than likely the fuse is blown. Your owners manual should have a diagram of the fuse block with numbers and descriptions.

My 2003 Winstar LX diagnostic panel will not read. Cigarette lighter went out, then engine light came on, took for oil change, dealership could not read code and had not time to look further into it.

The DLC power is from the cigarette lighter fuse. Replace the fuse and take it to a parts store and they will get the codes for free. Don't buy parts until it is tested.

I have had a reoccurring problem with my right signal light burning out I told the dealership that I thought it was a short. just the other day I took it in to get it fixed again and the very next day...

you just have a bad socket. The parts dept can get just a socket. Usually what happens is the gnd tab in the socket gets pushed in and instead of completing the gnd it arcs it and then kills the bulb.

Mitsubishi power outlet not working

Check your fuses. If all are good, then the socket likely went bad. You can get new ones at autozone, and wire them unto the old slot, or see if the dealership has the one that fits the wiring harness. Sometimes fuses can be blown, an you will replace it, only to blow it up again- at that point i would put in a new power outlet.

2005 Honda Odyssey left front power outlet doesn't work.Right one works fine. How do I fix

using a test light check the fuses in the fuse panel then check for power and ground at the socket. if one is missing remove the socket and check for power and ground at the electrical connector. if you have both the socket is bad and needs replacing. if you missing one you will have to check that wire to find were the problem is and repair it.

I have a 2000 GMC P/U and the dealership gave me a 1999 manual. the fuse block is different. Which fuse contols the driver's side turn signals

None, check your light bulb socket and voltage if you have a 12v probe.
Turn your 4 ways on and see what's flashing.
Probes are cheap and a great thing to have.
Probe the socket and see if you have power.
You don't say if it's the front or rear, that would help.
Also it could be your turn signal switch or light sockets.

Drivers side wiper blade will not engage(wipe). Passenger side works fine. Dealership wants $600+ to fix it. I cry foul. What do I do?

Normally there is a plastic socket that breaks, this is on the linkage, get one at a scrap yard and replace the whole unit, it is faster and cheaper

The two back brake lights went out at the same time but the brake light on top of the rear window still works, would the problem be the bulbs or a fuse? 2005 Jeep Liberty

Both of my brakelights have gone out on my 2005 jeep liberty. The problem is the brakelight socket. I bought replacement socket from the dealership for about $8 each. They are wireless and easy to replace. They sit on a circuit monted to the back of the tailight. The dealership will need your vin # as there are different types of sockets for the liberty.

No tail lights or brake lights

Check the relays associated with the tail lights, I believe that the tail light relay and the turn signal relay are two different entities. Hopefully that helps.
