You've certainly blown a fuse somewhere and probably even melted some wiring. Get an electrician in might have a bigger problem to deal with.....

Is there a circuit breaker or fuse to replace to solve this issue?

When you turn the key on the instrument cluster has no lights come on ? The head lamps don't work ? plug 2 and 5 where not firing and was told to reset computer by disconnecting Battery. If 2 & 5 are the only ones not firing ,disconnecting the battery isn't going to change that . The ignition module has burnt out transistor . If there was B+ voltage before you disconnected the battery you have a bad connection . Check your connections , cables ! Unless you shorted something . Do you know how to do automotive electrical testing using a voltmeter and a electrical power distribution diagrams ? This video on diagnosing coil drivers ( transistors ) is on a saturn 2.2 4 cylinder , doesn't matter testing the transistor is the same for your vehicle .

How to install a block heater into 2007 Chev Cobalt LS?

I`m surprised this didn`t come from the factory with a block heater already installed. if so look for an electrical plug like would be for a house hold lamp, somewhere in the area of the battery. if it didn`t come with one when you buy a block heater the instruction tell you were it is to be installed on the engine and position of element.

Truck is not firing on 3 cylinders yet it runs.. Runs really rough, back fires, under powered.. Plugs are Wet, Firing order is correct. New Spark plug cables. Don't know that is wrong! Please Help

Check for spark at the plug ( may have coil problem).
If spark is good then do a compression check. Pressure shouldn't be less than 75% of known good cylinders.

My car is overheatting and i changed the thermostat/tempsensor/reservoir/waterpump/heatercore

(1)So it's really overheating and not just SAYING it's hot, right?Because the gauge CAN go bad in the dashboard.
Well, you didn't list the(2) electric fan, whether it's coming on or not? (3)And if the fan is working, the only thing left is a plugged radiator on a Taurus.
A plugged radiator is best serviced at a radiator shop or you can buy a new one at Auto-Zone fairly cheap(150.00 or so). (:^) don-ohio

Put new foglights on my 2002 hyundai elentra gls but dont know how to wire them

First of all, did the vehicle previously come with fog lamps? I'm assuming it didn't. Normally, each YM (Year/Model) Hyundai wiring harness is complete for every feature which might be included with certain trim specifications. However, you probably don't have the multi-function switch which has the 'Fog Lamp Switch' on it (Left Hand Turn & Parking/Headlamp Switches). However, the wiring for the fog lamps is probably there, you just need the multifunction switch which contains the fog lamp switch. The illustration attached shows where the wire harness plugs into the fog lamp bulb. This connector may be taped up in the wire harness out of the way (since I'm assuming the vehicle didn't originally come equipped with fog lamps).

I need steps to change the oil

You only have to remove the drain plug
& replace the oil filter

I don't mean to be cute here, but
that is a very basic & easy job on
all vehicles.

You didn't say if you were going to
do it yourself,if so, I can't add much

Have to raise it up & get under there

Replace front blinker on 2003 chevy cavalier

1. You'll need your ratchet set, a flat head screwdriver, maybe needle nose plyers, and a replacement bulb.

2. You'll need to loosen (but not remove) the black, radiator cover in order to get access to the headlamp. There are 6 black, plastic, circle shaped plugs with a small circle inside the large circle. Use the flat edge of the screwdriver to pry that smaller circle upwards. Once it's able to be grabbed, pull it straight up with your fingers and it will pop out nicely. Do this with all six plugs.

3. Next, remove the two bolts that hold the lamp in place. There are actually 4 bolts in the same general area, but you only need to remove the two that hold the lamp in place.

4. Carefully tug, twist and turn the lamp so that you pull it out of it's socket by about 8 inches. Let it sit on the bumper. This should give you enough room to access the correct bulb from the back of the lamp.

5. Turn the bulb plug counter clockwise and it will eventually pop out of the lamp.

6. This is where I screwed up a bit, I pulled the bulb out, but it broke and left the plastic part still in the plug. So there is probably a release mechanism that I didn't see. I used the needle nose plyers to carefully remove the plastic part of the bulb from the plug. I think I broke a bracket on the plug, so be careful.

7. Push the new bulb straight into the plug. No turning required. Just straight in with a click.

8. Insert the plug back into the lamp, turn it clockwise to lock it into place.

9. Shimmy and twist the lamp back into position and screw it back into place.

10. Use your fingers to put the 6 black circle shaped plugs back into place. Just position them over the hole, make sure the small circle is pulled all the way out, push the big circle through the hole, then push the small cicle down to lock it into place. Sounds difficult, but once you see it done a single time, you'll be an expert.

If the bulb didn't break, the entire job would have taken me 15 minutes at most. Good luck!

Here is a great write up from this link:

It explains it in great detail that should help you perfectly.
thank you and enjoy,

We believe that the tail lamp fuse is blown in our 1998 Ford Windstar and would like to know the location of the fuse.

I didn't really see just a fuse for the tail lamps but there were a couple that may be what you are looking for so I just gave you a picture of the whole layout for the fuse panel inside the vehicle. There is a fuse panel in the engine compartment but I saw nothing as far as the tail lamps were concerned. This should be in your owners manual if you have one. if you do not and would like a copy, you can email me at with your make, model, year and what you are needing and I will be happy to email you a copy and don't worry no cost. Anyway i hope this helps and good luck.

Radiator fan not cuting in

if you make the contacts on the plug that connects to the thermo switch, does the fan work (both speeds?)?

if not, then it could be the fan control module or a fuse on there.
