Question about 2011 Ford Mustang GT
I was driving approx 80 mph when the car lost power. The headlights, dome lights, dash lights, windows nor the trunk release button will work. Nothing happens when i turn the key.
Ck the back of your alternator , ck the wires , also the same for the starter sounds like a wire broke of or shorted out , look good you will find it or your alterantor went bad and will kill the battery for sure , ck that too,

Pull the battery and have a parts store check it to see if it has a bad cell or two. It is possible that even though you charged it, the battery just won't work for you. Hope that helps.

Am inclined to say loose battery terminal or battery cable at starter loose. Clicking noise produced by low voltage at soleniod and not enough to engage.Check positive and negative connectins at both ends.

HAVE YOUR STARTER CHECKED OUT! I HAD THAT PROBLEM ONCE ON MY S10 TRUCK. THE WIRE FROM THE SOLENOLD WAS BAD. ALSO HAVE THE MODULE AROUND THE DISTRIBUTOR CHECKED.THESE ARE KNOWN TO GO OUT FORDS. GOOD LUCK!

Check the wire harness to the starter solenoid, the wires could have a break in it or the solenoid could also be bad. The heat of the engine could be causing the solenoid to fail till it cools down. Try that first, good luck and keep me posted, be glad to help.

Sounds like an electrical mess up. Im not too familiar with ford and newer vehicles. It could be the starter getting jambed. The make a grinding/clicking noise..Something like a selenoid? Just ideas..
