Something may be intermittently heating up or a connection vibrating and causing temporary failure of the ignition or fuel system. Any recent work on the engine ?

When in drive the nutrael an drive light r on an fell like gearbox is slipin

If you are wondering, there's no way it could be in drive and neutral at the same time and allow the slipping.
First, make sure the fluid level is right. Before it gets any worse (your gears {clutch packs} inside the transmission are wearing bad and causing slippage), have the transmission serviced-drain and refill with new fluid, and replace transmission filter body.
Good luck.

Bought a 1999 durango lady said it needs a tranfer case replaced was driving down road and transfer case broke and blew apart took to mechanic replaced transfer case but started vibrating after driving...

This type of vibration is typically caused by a bad universal joint on the drive line. I've seen a case where a bad u-joint caused the transfer case to crack and explode. Replace all the u-joints on the front and rear drive lines. They are usually only around 15 bucks each at NAPA and will be much cheaper than another T-case.

Engine locked up wondering if there are any defects known for a jeep grand cherokee laredo 2000 4.0l engine. Wondering if debris buildup at #3 cylinder location could cause this to happen? if not what?...

you can check the crysler website for any recall
debris on the outside of the cyl. won't do it but
before you sign the death certificate you can
try turning the engine back + forth with 1/2" or
3/4" drive socket + breaker bar and try to see
or hear where it has bound up also remove the
belt I've seen frozen a/c compreser or ps pump
give the same symtems hope this helps
good luck

When driving my 2004 dodge durango limited edition SUV, it sometimes hesitates then jerks during coasting speeds. Im just wondering if anyone has had the same issue, and what was the cause?

I had this problem and I ended up replacing the valve body in the transmission, but it could also be a sensor, so getting a mechanic to scan it is a good idea before you cause any damage.

Honda civic is an interference motor and a broken timing belt at 65 will bend the valves.
