2002 chevy blazer interior lites stay on when door is closed

door jam switch is faulty or dome light switch was left in on position. If you adjust the bright/dim switch, (the one that dims your radio lights),all the way down it should shut them off regardless.

Interior light won't turn off with ignition off keys out and all doors shut. Causes?

The door switch is gone bad or got dirty. In some cases cleaning helps, other wise it needs replacement. first try cleaning:--The door ajar and dome light switch is made in the door latch, get a wd-40 spray bottle. Open your door and spray into the door latch liberally and close and open the door about 6-7 times do this three or four times both doors if that doesn't work have it replaced either switch or switch and latch assembly

------------- you need a new door jam switch for it ,its the one that shuts the light off when the door is always shut on it,they go bad like this.---------- This will help. thanks.Helpmech.

Interior lights will not shut off

in the door jams there is a switch it should be a little post sticking out about a half an inch that you can push in by hand. it's one of those switches. their should be what looks like a nut at the base put a socket on it if it has that and it will screw out.

My interior lights will not turn off the dome light and rear bay light

check your door jamb switches to make sure they are shutting off the interior lights. They are part of the door latch.

All models have a lamp switch (13713) located in the driver's door latch that activates the interior lamp when the front door (20124) is opened.
I believe right door has one too, and maybe the hatch latch too

Interior lights do not turn off when all doors are closed. "door ajar" light is on.

on each door jam, there is a switch - similar to a frig door light switch, close the door the light goes off type button, you can take these switches apart and remove the button part of switch, suggest doing one at a time, and see if the lights go off when door is closed, if so - you probably have a bad switch, you can either replace the switch or just leave the button out of it and put back together on the jam.

Interior lights come on while driving

Yes,its adjustible.Pull off the interior cover.Next you'll see a nut that secures the light switch.Loosen that a turn at a time until it is in the proper place.(when the door closes without too much force)When you find your adjusment, tighten it back up.PS.there will be wiring attatched to that, dont damage the connector
