Question about Cars & Trucks
I did check the fuses on the passenger side and I know the other mercies trucks have a panel of relays and fuses that operates the trailers but on this one I looked for it and I couldn't find it
If the prime mover lights work then it will most probably be in the electrical connects on the trailer( broken wires or no return earth)

I'd get a 12vdc test light if you don't have one already & start from plug, and keep probing back from there. It may be as simple as a bad connection under truck where joined into harness.

if your vehicle lights are working all the fuses will be good. follow the cable from the towing socket on your vehicle , it will most likely go behind one of the rear lights to connect into your cars system,
check your tester where the cables join and you should find the problem. hope this helps.
