There is always a vacuum line diagram on the Vehicle Emission Controls Information (VECI) label under the hood.

I have a 2001 chevy impala 3.4L. and I need an image of what I thing is the vacuum line coming off of the air cleaning system going in behind the engine. it's the hard plastic hose. I'm not sure where it...

It is routed to a hole in the rear valve cover.if you remove the coils, module, and module bracket you will see the hole in the valve cover. I have done enough of these I can get them in and out with out removing anything but it will make it a lot easier to remove the above components if you are less experienced.

My daughter has a 2001 chevy impala has been dying at stop signs a few times, now transmission wont move in drive it will move in reverse fluid level ok thinking a vacuum line leak somewhere?

Connect vacuum gauge to test. Also, use 6 feet of hose one end in ear and other poking around under hood to listen for leaking vacuum.

2001 chevy impala quits near idle when driving, has new fuel pump crank sensor checked all wire harness conection still quits but not all the time

ive found many of these cars with this problem, first remove vacuum hose form fuel preasure regulator this is located on injector rail, start car and see if gas is leaking from fitting for vac hose , if so replace regulator, the next thing is to make sure the throtle body is clean, use throtlebody cleaner and tooth brush to clean, and last would be the idle air control valve, this valve keeps the idle and adjusts it when needed. hope this helps,

Termostat

Simple! Your motor will Overheat and Stop causing you to have to get it Rebuilt. If you Follow the Top Radiator Hose to the Block there is a Bell Housing that the Hose Connects to. Remove the Hose and the Bell housing. Thermostat is Under the Bell housing, Looks kinda like a U.F.O.! LOL
