Question about Cars & Trucks

1 Answer

Astra AH 2009 Additional socket inside car does not work. Could be a blown fuse as I dropped a metal wire insie the socket (cigaret lighter) accidentally. Is there a fuse for it. Where is it? The one at the back of the wagon works.

Have a fuse blown, got a short, somewhere. Need to know what a 25A fuse in the box under dash, labeled CTSY WDO goes to.

In order to try and help I need the make and year and model. Also the fuse box info is in the owner's manual.

Cigarete lighter will not work fuses do not appear to blown

From the op manual and having done it myself......"the fuse block is located under the instrument panel on the driver side of the vehicle."
Fuse # 7 is for the cig lighter and accessory power outlet.

Penny dropped into the cigarette lighter of my 2008 saturn astra. I got the penny out, but the cigarette lighter doesn't work

there must have been a weak connection somewhere in the line.
use a volt meter to trace from the lighter to the fuse box.
I have also seen the wire connection go bad during a short in the back of the fuse box itself where the wire goes in.
follow the 12 volts and you will find your problem.
