The tune up is an ongoing thing continually being adjusted by the ECM program. Have the fault codes read and if the car is running as it should and there are no faults then do not touch it. Even then only repair what is required by the fault codes.

Idle problem

what engine? # cylinders , displacement.????????????

ok, the EFI is in charge of idle speed at all times.

low speed ,usually means the EGR is stuck wide open

the main valve. clean it ever 50k and no more.

ill list some other common, ways, (not guessing, i do tests)

1: EGR stuck.

2: someone set the ignition timing way retarded

3: the cam timing is way retarded. (zero service caused)

4: flooding,

5: starving for fuel.

6: ISC valve stuck closed.

7: horrid need of a basic tuneup. 60k mile full service scheduled parts.

I have a 2007 pt cruiser and once and a while it will start studering real bad when your driving exspecialy if u push the excellerater but if u turn the car off then back on it resets, and it dont do it...

As for the sputtering it could be a sensor or in need or a tuneup. As for the transmission slipping i would have a mechanic look at it. That could be serious problem...hope this info helps and if so Please leave rating on this post and good luck.
