Looks like your fuel pump is going bad, that happens when the pump is going bad and you may have a code that is like random misfire, system too lean bank and bank 2. so the answer is replace your pump before you won't be able to make it run again.

Testimonial: "Thanks. The fuel pump is just a 1 1/2 years old. Don't make them like they used to!"

Just changed the fuel pump in 2005 Jeep liberty, after car wouldn't start and discovered it had no fuel pressure. Once the pump was changed car started right up and ran fine for about half a day, then...

See if the fuel is reaching the engine by loosen the fuel pipe before the injectors if not, change the fuel filter the one in the tank and the one next to the engine and bleed the fuel line it might be an airlock.

My 1997 Dodge Avenger's engine won't start

Try cam and/or crank sensor. If crank to cam timing isn't detected properly it'll crank all day but won't start. I had similar problem on my 2.5L V6 Avenger....drove home fine, no engine light, next morning it cranked, but wouldn't start. The crank sensor was faulty.
