Sounds like a relay may be stuck or bad, that would be the noise underneath. The noise in the door could be the Motor being weak and causing the relay to click or motor to make a humming noise.

Its unusual for both doors to fail at the same time, but not impossible.
Since you say the lights dim and you can hear noise in the doors we will assume the motors have voltage and ground.
You would need to remove the motors from the regulators to see if the motors are faulty or if the problem is with the regulators or tracks.

My 2000 ford windstar windows do not work properly. I press the button and can hear the clicking but it does not roll the windows down, the back two work its just the front two?????

Which window? i bet it's the dr door. sounds like the motor has come disengaged from the regulator. you must remove the interior door panel, drill out some rivets, and replace the faulty parts. (rivetting some of them back in) sorry, but this is not usually a DIY job. Maybe consult a pro.

I have a 2000 ford f150 passenger window will not roll up when i push the switch down i can here the motor when i push it to roll up i dont here anything

It sounds like the "hoist cable" has snapped. This will require removal of the door's trim panel of course, so you can verify this. The replacement part is generally fairly inexpensive and easy to find. The difficulty level of actually replacing it can vary per vehicle. The last one I changed, took me no more than about 20 minutes from start to finish.

I hope this helps! :)

2000 Ford expedition window problem

Sounds like you need a window motor. Try hitting in center of door trim panel to see if you can get it to work if so replace motor.

On a ford f 150 ---window switch work and window motor turns up and down but the window won't go down --cause?

Most likely the glass has become disconnected from the regulator OR the regulator has broken or become damaged. when you push the window switch 'up' or 'down' you should hear the motor, you may also hear a grinding or crunching noise and the motor slowing down or struggling under load. this is a sign your regulator is most likley damaged and needs to be replaced. If you "roll" the window all the way down and the glass does not move, try push the glass down, if you can freely move the glass up and down, it has become disconnected from the regulator. Either way you will have to take the door panel off and see for sure what the problem is.
