Where on a 2005 chevy colorado is the starter. Is it visible

Did you check the actual lights on the selector?

If by starter you mean the starter motor then they are always located between the tranny and the engine. You should be able to see it if you look where the two meet.

Sounds like a short circuit in the starter wireing. It may also be a bad altenater, make sure the batter is not bulging.

Try disconnecting both battery terminals and then touch together if that doesn't work after three minutes and rehookung up battery terminals the cd player is no good

I AM LOOKING AT BAD WIPER SWITCH.

if power and ground are good replace the switch

check for bare wires associated with the wipers..u might have a simple short out problem

right lower side of the engine towards the trans

Check for door ajar switches not making contact.

Both my rear brake lights went out at the same time. o7 chevy colorado. What are my options?
