It is under the left rear of car. If you have an EVAP leak code most of the time it is due to a malfunctioning EVAP Vent Valve at the left rear splash shield in the wheel well area.

It should be part of the fuel hose inlet then the fuel cap will vent. If you have pressure on your tank when you take your cap off, chances are you need a new cap

I changed the fuel pump on a 1997 Monte Carlo 3.4 motor and now I have no fuel pressure. The pump motors turns on but it doesn't pump any gas. Do I have to bleed the fuel system? and how do I do...

Disconnect fuel filter near tank and turn on, if you still hear the pump pulse and nothing comes out, a good chance that little 3" hose between pump and pick-up tube came off. Also, make sure it wasn't ran dry. There is no bleeding. Check the fuel rail schrader valve if you have fuel at the fuel filter. Good luck, will check on you later.......

I have a 2000 monte carlo 3.4motor and every other time i refuel it dont goes in the tank a vent hose near the tank gets fill gas, Is there some control module or relay switch that controls the vent in...

You should have a "vent solenoid" in the vent area, near your tank. This is a solenoid that closes your vet down after you are driving, by the computer. If this has failed closed, you can have an issue filling it with fuel. You can test these, once removed, by blowing through the line, and then apply 12 volts and a ground, and it should change.

You either have an obstruction in the filler tube or the vent tube on the filler is clogged so it is not allowing air to escape as the gas is going in.

How do I replace the Fuel Pump in my 2002 Cadillac Seville SLS

Hello ray......

The fuel pump is located inside the fuel tank. You can access the fuel tank thru the trunk. Inside the trunk and underneath the carpet, there is a access panel. Remove the five screws and lift the access panel. There under the panel you will see the pump. Disconnect it and take it to the auto parts store as they usually want the old one for an exchange. There was an issue with the sending unit itself. There were 4 or 5 thin contact points on the sending unit. The new ones have 3 thicker contact points, they tend to last longer. As the contacts break off one by one the fuel gauge becomes intermittent and then nothing.

The fuel filter is located in the pressure line that runs from the fuel tank to the engine, near to the fuel tank.
Keep the engine off for few hours before replacing the filter, to get rid of some pressure in the lines.
