Remove the tire, remove the axle nut, disconnect the lower ball joint. Remove the axle spline from the bearing.(sometimes they have to be beaten out). Clear the axle from the bearing(push or pull on the bearing/spindle). Use a pry bar to pop the axle out of the transmission. Replace in opposite order. This is generic. Year,make, and model does help.
