Engine is loud when driving and causing a vibration on passenger side

Wheel may need balancing, small quick job at garage. As for loud engine noise and vibration......miss firing cylinder, engines mount loose but more like something to do with exhaust manifolds leaking.
If you do one wheel, do them all...balance that is.
Good to check all parts of the steering bushes etc for loose rods.
One more simple check is to look for holes in engine heat shields and sound proofing. ............and check all wheel nuts are tight !
It happened to me, back from brake pad change, drove car home and the vibration really got my attention....I checked everything, except wheel nuts. I couldn't believe it could happen... but the *%$£" mechanic hadn't done up the nuts proper......small things can cause big trouble. Good luck

1999 6 cyl. Where Is The evap canister vent solenoid located?

The canister is located under the rear driver's side bumper, behind the rear wheel, above the exhaust pipe, next to the fuel tank. The Canister Vent Solenoid is mounted on the canister toward the rear of the car. The Canister Purge Solenoid is mounted in the front passenger side wheel-well, under the large protective plastic above the tire. The system is connected to the intake manifold on the passenger side just on the engine side of the throttle body. The service port is on the passenger side next to the A/C condenser.
Hope this helps you out

I'm getting a code on my 2002 firebird 3.8 PO153 slow response o2 sensor Bank 2 sensor 1. Where is that located at?

it is the sensor after the cat converter for the bank at the front of the engine if it is a conventional engine configuration and not front wheel drive then bank 2 is the lhs of the engine looking at the fan from the front. the sensor will be after the cat converter
the sensor before the cat ( exhaust manifold) is a HO2S which is a heated sensor and a totally different sensor and operation

Chrysler Engine Codes PO174

All OBD 2 (1996- present) engine codes with the prefix of P. are the same regardless of manufacturer. This particular code indicates that the system is to lean on bank two. Meaning either the passenger side of the engine or back side on front wheel drive cars is receiving to much air or not enough fuel. This is determined by the oxygen sensor's in the exhaust on that side. You may want to look for a vacuum line which has fallen off. Or if the car is making a ticking noise from the exhaust on that side you may have a exhaust leak allowing air in to the system. Another less likely scenario is the fuel injectors on that side have a weak pulse or to quick of a pulse. Meaning they are turning on and off to quickly.

How to locate the starter on a 1993 gmc sierra 2 wheel drive 4.3

Its on the right (passenger) side of the engine, at approximately 7:00 o'clock, looking at it. It is located below the exhaust manifold. It may be better to look thru the right side wheel well to see it.

96 Lincoln continental bank 1 sensor 1 which one is it

Bank 1 is always the side with the #1 spark plug, and in your case it is the right or passenger side, and it will be the first O2 sensor in the exhaust system either on the passenger side exhaust manifold itself, or it will be just after the passenger side exhaust manifold, and before the catalytic converter.

My 2005 Buick LaCrosse makes a whiny noise. It is worse when going around corners. I notice when I take my foot off the gas the noise lessons significantly.

I am guessing the steering rack is starting to go bad. That is quite expensive to fix. The whining noise is the rack sucking air due to the steering fluid has leaked out. You can check your power steering fluid level and add some with stop leak to see if that helps. The filler cap is at the rear of the engine on the passenger side and is quite hard to get to. Be sure to not reach down to remove the cap unless the engine is cool. There is a high risk of burning yourself on the exhaust manifold.
