Sounds like a bad relay to the a/c motor or stuck. Check engine compartment relays. It could also be a defective computer shorting out. I ran into that with a jeep. I had to replace the computer and relays. Best price on auto computers is in Miami. you give them the vin and you get a new one programmed. 200. Way cheaper than the dealer. Some cars have Body Control modules as well or General Electric Modules (GEM).

Battery drain overnight

Usually if battery is good. Its usually a parasitic drain. You can use a standard multimeter, and put across each fuse top. Two little tips. If you see a voltage even a little bit. That's a drain. Find what fuse go's too. And diagnose.

Ford NC 1993. 1 time in 5 ish I have to release

More likely to be the Neutral safety stitch out of adjustment.

Moving the E-Brake only slightly moves the Shifter handle at the same time.

Try moving to Neutral then starting the vehicle.

Hope this tip helps.
