Maybe get a lower watts globe and see. Otherwise it may just be a combo of cheap bulbs and cheap plastic covers

I think you either have a defective bulb socket or you still have a ground problem, that is the only thing that can cause this, the ground issue may be caused by the turn signal switch as well.

I can't find which fuse runs the cruise control. My cruise just stopped working, light does not come on in dash when CC is engaged which led me to believe I've lost power to the unit ??????????? 2006...

There is not a fuse for the CC itself, only the brake light fuse and the speed control deactivation switch ( on the top of the brake pedal lever ).

The deactivation switch is from fuse # 14, 10A.

Did you change the Stop / Turn bulbs to LEDs without the load resistors ? Usually the CHMSL ( Center High Mount Stop Lamp ) as a standard bulb is enough to keep the CC working, when doing LED Stop / turn bulbs.

The deactivation switch has the switch in the closed position to the PCM, when the brake is off.
Could also be this switch if the fuse tests good with a meter.

Check for power on both sides of the deactivation switch

Fuse #14 - Light Blue w/ Pinks stripe wire - deactivation switch - black w/ yellow stripe wire - PCM.

How to change headlight bulb 2006 chevy trailblazer

See note below for passenger side. Remove the dust cover on the back of the head light assembly (black round rubber cover about 3" in diameter, just pull it off), disconnect the plug on the bulb, turn the bulb a 1/8 turn and pull it out. Then reverse the process for assembly.

***NOTE***If you are trying to replace one of the bulbs on the passenger side, remove the air filter housing cover and displace the filter for access to the dust covers on the back of the head light. 2 screws hold the air filter housing cover on, one directly behind it and one on the side (drivers side of air filter housing).

No brake lights only one above rear window and on camper shell

I recently had the same issue in my '05 Silverado... I believed it was something more dire, but it turned out that i just needed to replace the taillight bulbs. After getting stopped twice by cops within a month's time i figured it was at least worth a try to replace the $5 bulbs before spending hundreds on a mechanic to do it for me.

How do I get the trunk panel off to get to the tail light?

Each of the tail light bulbs is sitting on a connector (ussually gray or black) that when you twist it clockwise it comes out. You do not have to take off the plastic panel.
