Question about Cars & Trucks
I believe it might have gotten wet and I have replaced the battery but nothing happens? can I just get another unit
Make sure it is totally dry, use a hair dryer or place in a jar of dry rice overnight, if that doesnt work you will have to order another transmitter, they will need the special number for the freq from yours to code it, contact the mfr directly

Do the dash lights come on ? They should come on when the key is turned to the on position. If nothing happens check the engine relay. It is not too expensive to replace if you really want to eliminate that as the problem. Check all wires going to the starter and make sure it is wired correctly.

This sounds like the Technical Service Bulletin for the wiring harness but yes there are 2 TSB for the charging system most recent April 2007

The remote needs to be programmed when the battery get's replaced. You will most likely have to take it to a dealer to have it done.
