Tyring to start my 2008 Super Duty. not cranking. Ive cleaned the cable ends still nothing.Ive not checked the voltage to the starter yet.

Try energising the starter solenoid manually with a jumper cable or similar. If the engine cranks the fault is ignition/starter switch, relay if there is one, fuse, wiring, connections or the immobiliser might not be disarming...

What to do when your remote quits working that cranks your truck

The batteries in your remote are probably dead. Put in new batteries. Just use the key until you get new batteries.

What to do when my remote quits workingto crank my truck

could be the transmitter or remote starter itself, check the connections on your starter, they use cheap pinch on connectors that let your wires corrode and they also disolve because they are made from cheap metal, they can also destroy your ECU and cost you a fortune, some remote companys can try to start your vehicle remotlely via satellite, you can remove the switch they put on your starter and see if it works with 12 volt power, use a test light or a volt meter to see if it opens or closes, if it does its your transmitter for sure

Replace the battery in the fob. Have the fob check to see if it is working. If the receiver is bad replace the system or take it out. If you don't take it out, eventually it will mess up the security system and you won't be able to start the car with the key. I take them out all the time, when I see them. Starts the car every time..

My 2000 Ford ranger wont start My 4x4 lights started flashing so I pulled and checked the fuses but all were good Then went to start the truck and all I hear is the relay click one time as I turn the key...

Suggest you look at battery 1st Remove Earth cable normally + sign, check the cable connection to the battery is clean inside & wire brush the battery where the cable fits see if that is your problem, only other thing is the battery no longer holding it's charge IE: you may need new battery. Best Wishes, Malcolm Campbell.

My pick up nissan 1995 doesn't start no electricity at all charged battery checked fuses are working

you sure the battery is truly good right / ...then you may have a bad cable or simply corroded enough to cause this also there is a fuse at the negative open it and see if it is in fact god otherwise its either battery cables or possibly the starter itself possible even the key switch and you checked the crank fuses in the fuse box and all are good . try using a test light with the key on and see if any juice is at both ends of each fuse ...clean the cables and starter cable connections

Hello I blew the crank fuse is it possiable that I blew another cause car wont start.

yes quite possible you may have blown another fuse too--- if the wiring's are grounded somewhere get it checked.and yes the car wont start until you change the fuse.also check that the fuse insertion socket is not rusted.if its rusted just clean it properly before putting in new fuse.

thanks, keep updated and please rate the solution positively.

Try having someone turn the key to the start position while someone else taps on the starter with a hammer.
