The high beams may go out while the low beam doesn't however it's usually the other way around. One may go out while the other light is fine so no, they won't go out at the same time.

How do I replace camshafts on Toyota Hilux 3.0 d4d?

The Toyota Hilux D4D 3.0 1KDFTV is an interference engine, so if the timing is wrong then the pistons will critically damage the valves. Removing the camshafts is easy, you just need to remove the set of bearing cap bolts that fasten them, in a predetermined order. When reinstalling the camshafts you just need to ensure the peripheral stamp marks on each of the camshaft sprockets align with each other. ie Align the indented dot with its adjacent indented dot or align the highlighted indented dot with its adjacent highlighted indented dot. The bearing cap bolts will need to be fastened with a torque wrench. Then connect the timing gear pulley onto the right camshaft using a key woodruff slotted into the right camshaft groove. Always double check the timing - that the peripheral stamp marks align. Don't under tension bolts, don't over tighten bolts either.

A highlighter has fallen right down the hole under the handbreak on my Renault Clio and it won't come out. Will it matter? Any advice?

Probably not, but that depends on two things: (1) Whether or not you can afford to buy another marker pen; (2) your mood at the time you need to highlight but don't have the highlight marker.

Did you try chasing the marker out of the hole with vacuum and crevice tool?

Citroen xsara 1.8 16 valve 1999 firing order is it from left or right side?

This is where it gets tricky, Graham, the French have started calling the flywheel end, cylinder no 1, on some engines. As the timing is not adjustable is it just that you need to know which lead goes where?
You can see the no 1 position usually through a hole in the bellhousing which is marked on the flywheel. A blob of white paint or Tippex can help highlight it.

Set clock on 2007 toyota blade

Push the right knob on the dash until you get a small group of japanese characters in the middle of the screen. Hold the knob in. you will get a screen with three GROUPS of characters. Pushing the knob hoghlights them in turn. The first group - top left- is the clock. Hold on this when it highlights and the clock comes up flashing. Alter the hour and the minutes when they highlight by pushing the knob. When time is correct wait until flashing stops. screen returns to display.

Need to know timing marks ect ect

ON older cars the timing marks are on the bottom pulley. Take an old bar of white soap and rub around the pulley and you will highlight them. You will need a timing light to set the timing.

there will be two highlighted or dotted chain links for the camshaft and one for the crankshaft gear, position cam dot/TDC indicator in the 12-O clock position, the two dotted links should be on ether side of cam dot, turn crank dot to the 6-O clock position and line up highlighted link with dot on crank gear, if timing cover is on, then make sure cylinder 1 is at TDC when the two links are at 12-O clock.

Over heating

In general I know of no reason per se to replace the thermostat and temp sensor because you replaced the radiator fan. If the temp gauge seems to be staying in the 1/3-2/3 of full scale, and there is no apparent engine control issues as the engine warms from cold to operating temperature then there is no obvious reason to replace those items. Other than fan motor failure is there any reason for you to believe these other parts are at fault? You can get a free fault code readout at an Autozone parts store which would highlight a temp sensor problem, but there is no fault code for the thermostat except maybe the one for engine running cold for too long a time after start up. You could also check the resistance of the temp sensor which should run around 10-14,000 ohms when cold and drop to 700-1,000 ohms when warmed up.
I don't know about the issue of replacing the thermostat because I don't know which engine you are working with. So let me know an
