If your at autozone then people at front desk can help. Myself I just look it up in the owners manual. Most just need to push a clip of some sort and push wiper assembly down and it should go back on with a "snap/click" when you put on the new one. I recommend asking the local autoparts store to show you how to do it for your vehicle. Otherwise YouTube, car dealer, or manufacturer can tell you how.

Front wipers not working

Lift up the hood. Remove the plastic covering by the window called a cawel. The motor should be visible. The only problem is the nut may be loose from the motor to the wiper blades.

Windshield Wiper

Unfortunately, theae are common problems. There is more than likely a bad circuit board. Most major auto part stores carry these.

2011 equinox rear wiper replacement

I just replaced mine. Lift the rear wiper up as far as it will go. which is not very far. Place your fingers on each end of the wiper and pull down. The blade is held in place by a clip. Gentle pressure will downward toward the window will cause it to disconnect. An extra pair of hands to hold the plastic cover up helps. Note the orientation of the blade when you disconnect it. The replacement blade may have a clip on it which may need to be removed. Place the replacement blade in the same orientation as the one that was removed and clip back in place.

What size wiper blades on a 1997 gmc sierra

Trevor, I do not know the answer since I do not own this model of a pickup truck but this is what you need to do. If you look at the wiper arm you will note that it is hinged which allows you to pull it up off the windshield and stay in place with the wiper blade being at right angles to the arm.

At this point, you can simply use a tape measure to find the lenght of the actual blade. That number will be accurate when you go to get replacements as the lenght is marked on the package.

C hange rear blade 2008 gmc

At the mounting area of the blade to the rotating wiper arm is a tab that has to be pushed in and held to remove the wiper blade. The tab will be on the wiper blade's center housing ansd is very small to see

Blades not moving

It's probably a loose nut where the blade attaches to the body!
You'll have to pry open the hinged cover with your hand or a screwdriver to expose the nut then just tighten it up.
I've had this problem.
Good Luck!
