How to fix.my throtleboard

It seems you haven't been taking enough care on your car up to the point the whole cylinder head is worn out leaking oil from the inlet means both the valve stamp seals, valveguides ,oil scrapper rings valves and timing belt worn out. The timing jumped making the piston hit the valves damaging the guides and seals, oil started to come into cylinder and during comp%ssion it is pushed through the valves to the inlet until it damanges the throttle body.the D4 pump is also faulty, low pressure if the car can't rev. Better do cylinder head service and buy another D4 pump before condemning the throttlebody

Hi John, These days most oils are formulated to be used in both petrol and diesel engines but those formulated specifically for diesels should not be mixed. If your talking of a top up I suggest a flush with a good quality chemical and a lub service. If you have had a service carried out and changed the type of oil the same applies. Mixing oils can cause fast sludge build up which can block the filter, oil pump and galleries. These days most oils are designed to run both types of engine, but mixing is neve a good idea. Regards John

Diesel mixed with engine oil increasing level of engine oil

Usually if outside o rings fail the its often soon after the inside rings and seals go to. injector pump overhaul the solution. You could just remove the pump and replace the front seal but it would only be a short term fix as the bushings in pump are likly worn

My isuzu truck mixes diesel and engine oil. what is the cause?

the injector are along top of engine , the lines all run back to a pump usually attached to engine side, only unit with multiple metal tubes running out to engine top, removal of injectors requires some special tools. this requires good diesel knowledge and tools to repair either one.

My toyota 3C turbo diesel engine the turbo compressor is flooding of oil . I can.t trace where it is coming from That is why I am searching service manual for this turbo charger. 12ct

Hi,

If your turbo housing is getting flooded with oil the it can only come from the shaft seal on the inside of the turbo.

You will need to remove it and replace the shaft seal.

Oil mixing with Diesel and car emits white smoke.

The copper washers on the bottom of the injectors can give this fault if they are not renewed when the injectors are replaced .

If you have changed these allready and made sure you pulled them down exactly as the manual says in 3 stages then you may have a bad injector - see your Isuzu dealer .

2001 VW POLO 1.4 16v AHW, breather hose problem

if heave oil deposits are coming trough the breather then you may have other problems, such as worn piston rings causing exsessive blow by resulting in the oil being in the intake box, a filter will only create a restriction coursing more poblems, do a compresion and cylinder leak down test to find out how well the rings are sealing.

Oil Leaks

I did an engine swap because of a rod knock and when I removed the power steering pump the seal was upset and would not seal again. I found a guy on the internet who had a kit for under $75 shipping included (sorry can't remember sight name). This kit comes with a new improved two lip seal, couple o-rings, gasket, home made tools, and a video showing how to install the new seals. I installed the kit and it fixed the leak in about 3 hours. The dodge dealer wants $1100.00 for a rebuilt vacumme pump. Do a google for power steering leak. This is a very common problem even for a pump that has not been removed.
