CHECK YOUR SHIFT MOTOR ON THE TRANSFER CASE.. IT LOOKS LIKE A WIPER MOTOR.. AND THEN TRACE THE WIRING AND MAKE SURE THEIR IS NO CHAFFING OR BROKE WIRES.. AND YOU MIGHT HAVE TO REPLACE THE SHIFT MOTOR ALSO. GO TO A TRUCK DISMANBLER.. A PICK AND PULL JUNK YARD AND PULL IT OUT FROM THE SAME YEAR/ YEARS YOUR TRUCK MODEL IS IN. AND ALSO THEN YOU WILL KNOW HOW TO CHANGE OUT YOUR'S ON YOUR TRUCK BEFORE HAND.. ALSO CHECK THE SWITCH ON THE DASH THEY ARE CHEAP ENOUGH.. FUSE AND ALSO MAKE SUER THAT ITS IN NEUTRAL BEFORE IT WILL WORK ALSO.
FUSES/FUSE RELAY BLOCKS OR SHIFT MOTOR.. LOOK FOR BLOWN FUSES/ AND THEN FIND OUT WHICH RELAY BLOCK CONTRLS THE 4X4 AND THEN IF THEY ARE ALL FIND? THEN GET ANTOHER SHIFT MOTOR.
The fuel pump relay is in a junction box under the hood. The junction box you are looking for is the one closest of the two to the fender and of the three relays in there the relay closest to the fender is the fuel pump relay.
Also, here is a diagram of the fuel pump fuse. #40 - 20 Amp fuse.
Also make sure to check to see if the fuel pump shut off switch.
Check fuse #6 20amp on your interior fuse panel it may be blown. The relays are located in an auxillary relay box located under the hood on the drivers side fender near the firewall. The system uses 2 relays. One relay turns on for left turn signal, other relay turns on for right signal. Both relays turn on for brake lamps. The fuse #6 is more likely the problem. If the fuse is blown, replace it, wiggle the wiring on the trailer while someone steps on brakes to check for shorts.
