Question about Cars & Trucks
May possibly be water pump also, squeeking comes from belts, if the pump is out the pulley may have locked up. Turn car on, and lift hood. Find serpentine belt and follow to water pump. You should be able to see if pulley is seized, belt will spin, but pulley will not. Also let car run for about 10 minutes, and check pressure in upper, and lower hoses to radiator, that will also let you know if your getting proper pressure.
