How to check fan clutch 05 tacoma 4.0 v6

To check the fan clutch, drive the vehicle until it reaches operating temperature. stop, turn off vehicle, remove the keys from the ignition. open the hood and reach dowwn to the cooling fan and try to rotate it. if it is spining freely or with very little effort at operating temp then the clutch is bad. if it will not rotate or takes a significant effort it is good. The clutch spins freely at cold start to help the engine get up to operating temperature more quickly by allowing the fan to freewheel. as the temp rises the clutch engages allowing the fan to spin a at RPM allowing the fan to draw in cool air through the radiator. I hope this helps.....

Fan rotation

AC or Engine ? If engine it may be the engine coolant temp. Fan switch. Its either located on. Lower radiator or thermost housing. If you can unplug the wire at sensor and ground the wire. If fan runs you need to replace sensor.

Maza 323 radiator fan rotating direction

the direction of fan rotation will be on the motor body but check that th curved edge ( leading edge) of the fan blade is facing the radiator and that air is being pulled through th radiator. THe motors are dc operation and can spin in both directions and the fans themselves are made to fit in front of the radiator( a/c fan) and blow air through the radiator. So checking these points is necessary

When driving down the road with the AC on the engine over heats. What should I do to fix the problem?

Check and make sure the fan comes on when the ac does, there are 2 fans one for regular cooling and the other for the ac. Also make sure the radiator is clean inside and has been flushed and make sure the thermostst is faily new and in working condition.

When the heater/air conditioner is turned on, one of the fan belt wheels begins to click and shift

I bet good money that it is a fan belt. But I advise you have it repaired immediately before it causes damage.
