That could be expensive to replace.....does the odometer still work? One work around would be to get a GPS for your car, it will show you your speed and miles driven.

assuming you didn't put thermostat in upside down, your system may need to be flushed. if radiator is blocked you can feel a cold spot at the blockage when the motor is warm

Car is "dead" but battery/alternator/starter are all in working order. Hornet is causing this.

Sounds more like a faulty battery terminal to me from your description ,try cleaning and make sure its tight then smear with petroleum grease.Clean terminal with a kettle of hot water first

the best thing to do is to have the car scaned with the diagnostic computer to see what fault codes are stored.
acording to the fault code you'll be able to work out what's wrong with it.

have the fault codes read
never hold a plug or HT lead in your hand
in the old day cars the voltage was around 16,000volts so you got a kick
todays cars are around 65,000volts so if you are not in perfect health, heart wise , the shock could cause severe heart problems

Radiator

no, who ever put the radiator in for you did not reset the light. I had got a new radiator put in a couple months ago and my radiator light came on too. It never went off. So i took it to the shop so they can reset the sensor, it has now been off and never came back on.
