1992 PLYMOUTH ACCLAIM-was driving car stalled mech saying possible engine computer going out. fuel is not getting to engine

it could be a fuel pump relay located on the drivers side inner fender, fuel pump(should hear the pump run while cranking)as there is a 2 second prime when the key is turned on.it could be the pickup coil in the distributer(didn`t say what motor is in this).the computer could be the problem also but not a common problem.these need to be checked out before replacing the computer.when the computer is replaced there is a number on a tag stuck to the computer that is the computer number to get the proper one.

Why am i not getting any fire to the fuel pump

You didn't say if you have the 4 or 6 cylinder engine, but I think you should check your fuel pump relay.

With either of these engines, it's located under the hood on the drivers side, in front of the strut tower, mounted in a relay block on the fenderwell.

Hope this resolves your problem!

1995 Plymouth Acclaim Won't Start

It is most likely the fuel pump. pouring gas down the throttle body will not start it, it will just flood it. try spraying a carb cleaner in the throttle body in short 1 or 2 second bursts while some one else cranks it, it should start.
