Most door panels have a screw near the door handle and there may be one or two more. Look for a small round screw cover that can be pried open with a small flat screwdriver. Remove any screws you find. There will be plastic push-in retainers around the edges of the door panel. You can pry them out with a medium to large size flat screwdriver or better yet with a plastic trim panel tool. Some of the push-in retainers may break. Just take one to the auto parts store and buy some matching replacements (fairly cheap). But expensive at the dealer parts department! To reattach the door panel just line up the push-in retainers and give the panel a good whack at each retainer with your hand. Replace the screw(s).

Most door panels have plastic push in fasteners around the edge about . there is a special tool to help get them out but often they break on removal however cheap to buy and replace. Use a couple of flat tip screwdrivers to quickly pop the panel away from the door frame all around the edge. get as close to the fastener(tightest spots)with your tool for best effect

Remove door panel on 2008 Chrysler Sebring to replace window switch

This pic is of a door panel retainer that hold the panel onto the inner door frame. They are typically placed on the sides and bottom of the door panel. The top of the door panel slides downward into a channel on the top of the door frame.
The first step is to locate all screws on the door panel and remove them. Usually the screws are in the door handle to hold the handle in place. Look for other locations for screws. SOmetimes the screws have button covers that hide the screw head.
After all screws are out , take a wide blade screw driver or you can purchase a tool for door panel removal, and insert the screw driver inbetween the panel and the door, and pry these fasteners out all around the panel. Once the panel is free on the side and bottom, lift up on the panel to disengage it from the top channel. Be careful of the wiring behind the panel. You may have to unplug the wire connectors to remove the panel further.
These panel fasteners become brittle and may break when they are popped out. They are avaiable at auto parts stores. Just take one with you to match up, since there are several differnt sizes.

How to replace driver side mirror on a 2007 chrysler sebring ltd

Once you take of the door panel, you should have two or three nuts behind the black triangler shape cover..Once you take them off, you just reverse the procedure...To take the door panel off, you may need a flat head screwdriver, and a phillip screwdriver..You may have two or three screws to take off..One is by the door handle..One may be under the window switch..which you can pop that off with the flat head screwdriver...Then just pop the panel off, and disconnect all the connections..Should be no more than 3....Goodluck..

If the switch has been wet a few times the contacts may only need to be cleaned. If water is a common problem apply dielectic compound to the connections so you don't have the repeated problem.

1997 buick park ave door lock buttom is loose. How do I remove the drivers side door panel?

At the bottom of the door panel you will find several screws ( haven't removed mine in a few mo. and have forgotten how many ) there are also screws under the slotted bottom of the finger grip in the door panel. After removing screws lift the panel from the bottom and to the top of the door. You will encounter clips on the rear of the door panel the most problematic is by door locking mechanism. Use a small blade flat screwdriver to Gently prise the clip out of the metal door. To pass over the interior door handle piviot the door panel, Take Care the wires for window and door lock are located here!
I used Gorilla Glue to reseat my lock button be Cautious not to bind the lock button, or the function will be impaired ( won't work ) HAVE FUN

Left power mirror replacement

There is a Technical Service Bulletin on the power mirror actuator for replacement. If your mirror just stopped operating, I would take it back to the dealer and they will fix at no charge due to the TSB.

For removing the door panel

  1. Remove window crank handle or power window switch assembly (if equipped).
    • Disconnect harness connectors.
  1. Remove pull handle escutcheon.
  2. Remove pull handle cover and remove screw.
  3. Lift armrest upward to release clips and remove armrest.
    • Remove front door finisher screws behind armrest.
  1. Release clips and remove front door finisher.
    • Disconnect lock cable and handle cable from inside door handle assembly.

How to remove drivers door panel on a 2007 Nissan Tiida hatchback

The door handle has a c clip behinde it that you can not see.Goto a auto parts store and thay will have a cheep tool to help you.(you need a special tool for this. The WINDOW CRANK handle has a 'c-clip' behind it. The door opening handle trim is held in by either a screw behind a plastic flap that will pop out(behind the lever)or it is held in at four points by plastic tabs (two on top and two on the bottom)that can be undone carefully with a screwdriver or the like. When this plastic trim is removed the door panel should come off.
Be aware that there are plastic clips (back side of the panel) on the perimeter of the panel that hold it in as well.
the tweeter panel just pops out look on the bottom of the door for screws and around the door handle and you will have to pop your window and door lock controls out and the reflector on the door pops out and there is two screws there then al you have is the clips behind the door they make tools for it but a flat tip screwdriver will be fine just get the tip close to the clip and pull it out .
1. Remove window crank (it has a kind of 'bent wire' c-clamp, which holds it onto the window crank shaft).

2. Pry upwards the top plastic cover to the arm rest (this is a plastic coated foam rubber piece, on which you rest your arm).

3. Remover the two now visible screws which fasten the arm rest onto the door.

4. Remove the one screw fastening the inside door handle.

5. With a blunt tool, gently hit the inside door handle in a forward direction (towards the door hinge). This will release the door handle from the door.

6. Pry between the door panel and the door, to unsnap the snaps holding the door panel in place.

7. Finally, lift door panel out and up to remove it from door.

Driver side power window stopped working

The door panel is held on by plastic clips and 5 screws. 3 screws are on the bottom and 1 in the pull cup and 1 in the inner door handle. Then grab one of the corners and give a small tug, when you get some of the clips to pop out then proceed around the whole panel. To replace the panel take the clips out of the door with a fork and slide them back into the panel and then line it up on the door and use your hand like a hammer and bang the panel back on. Hope this helps
