You do not advise what the gear set is on so it is doubtful you will get any answer until you do.

Adding fluid to the rear end

Hey, Welcome to FixYa!

If you have already purchased your 80-90W gear oil you will notice how the bottle is shaped. Long and has a nozzle at the end. Simply park your truck on flat level ground. Remove the Circle rubber inspection plug on the rear end cover. Then begin filling it with fluid. Continue to add fluid until Oil just starts to run out of the hole. Replace the plug and your all set.

If i helped you please don't forget to rate me. Cheers!

Need to replace dist.cap1994 buick roadmaster 5.7 series p

1st,pick out choice swear words! next, remove air filter, then there are two phillip head screws holding the cap on.( they are also a small hex about a 1/4 " or 5/16th.) if they haven't been removed in a long time , be careful not to break them off! I have found that a 1/4" drive with that flexable cable extention works best for the rear screw, which is the bad boy to get at. mark your wires if you don't know how to do the firing order.good luck Bill

I have a 2001 nisson sentra with a 1.8 engine. It will not idle. It has been in the shop for 1 month. They have replaced the computer, spark plugs, wires, ccm and countless other things which i can not make...

sounds like your idle air control valve is not working properly, this valve controls your idle speed and if not working properly will cause what you have is a pretty easy thing to replace just a couple of screws and a wire connection. check your list of replaced parts and make sure they haven't replaced this part already. go to your local auto parts store to see what one looks like and ask them where the location might be on your car. it usually is located by the air intake throttle valve area.just make sure you get the proper size tool to remove the screws while your at the parts store if you already don't have them.

Rear window of my toyota 94 forerunner is off track. Is it something that I could fix myself, and if so could you explain how.

yes. its of medium difficulty. first you will need to open the rear hatch. Locate the screws (probably 4 or more) (some may be under little plastic covers that you can take off with a flat head screwdriver). next when all the screws are removed, you'll need to pry the plastic panel on the frame. (don't have to pull extremely hard, check for screws you might have missed). use a plastic pry bar so you don't make marks. the panel will literally "pop" right off. There might still be some light or switch connectors on the panel so it might be dangling. unclip the connectors and set the plastic panel down. now you can see into the hatch frame where the window is and the window regulator (the rail that the window and motor is on). try finding where its loose and screwing it back on. if you notice anything is broken, its probably the window regulator linkage. You will need to get that replaced (buy a new rear window regulator). before installing the new window regulator, take the motor off the old one and put it on the new regulator while out of the car. then install, screw on the window, plug in the connectors and make sure it works. it sounds complicated but its a lot easier then it sounds. Good Luck! If you don't want to attempt this take it to a local shop, its a pretty inexpensive fix. if you hear the motor running, it probably doesn't need a window motor just the regulator.
