The reservoir of windshield washer liquid is usually within a translucent, dull-white, container with a black, screw-on cap which is marked on top with a symbol for water spray. It's typically located in the section under the hood near the front, driver's-side headlight.

To be sure you have the right refill point, trace the tubes running from the two spray nozzles on top of the hood, near the windshield, and follow them across the underside of the hood and along its edge. At this point the two mini-plumbing pipes merge into one, and in most cases they tend to really be separate only for a few inches before meeting a Y-intersection with the other major thoroughfare/input channel.

Now, follow them by feel to the reservoir, then up the container until you have a solid visual of the cap. The rest is just a matter of what washing fluid your vehicle manual says to use, and then adding a cheap funnel from Wal-Mart to prevent any refill-design problems from causing a ruckus.

It is probably the blue fluid. But do not do anything, go to where you get your oil changed and ask them to show you. They will probably fill it for free.

Wind shield washing fluid, what is it made of?

washer fluid is simply clean fresh water with a grime busting additive added by you when refilling the bottle. Fill the bottle with clean fresh water and add the detergent in the proportion as on the bottle.( windscreen cleaner --not washing up detergent---too corrosive on the metal and paint work)

Where is the reservoir for the rear window washer for 1996 golf 3

the front and rear washer use the same reservoir and the same pump. Volkswagen reverses the polarity to spin the pump in opposite directions depending on whether you want the front or the rear to spray.

Windshield washer not working. Have filled it several times but water level goes down when operated but does not come out of nozzle.

Check the hose from the container to the wipers and see if it came disconnected from either place and check for a broken or cracked hose.

Floor get wet when it rains on passengar side carvan

check the weather stripping on your door and the seal on the windshield also make sure the windows are 100% all the way up. Good way to find out where it's coming from is goto an automatic car wash and while it's washing your car watch for water to drip.. if your not sure if you will see it if it comes through the windshield you can always hold up some construction paper (obviouisly you can cover more ground with that than notebook paper) and see where it gets wet :-) if you dont find it there i'd check the floor boards and see if/where the carpet starts to get wet first under the dashboard

Low pressure ac port

Two ports under hood for ac, use the one closest to the fire wall. Refill valve will only hook up to this one. Use a gauge on refill can so you dont over fill system and blow a o ring
