Where are both heater cores located on a 2000 pontiac montana

Front heater core is roughly center of dash near the floor in the heater/a/c housing. The rear heater core is on the drivers side at the rear of the van under the plastic side trim and once you remove that ,it is in the rear heater/a/c housing. Both are hard to get at,so make sure you need to change them.

Need instructions on how to replace a heater core in a 1983 Firebird

Iam guessing you can get it out from the engine compartment. Does it have A/C also? You can take the plastic housing apart to get to it . Follow the heater hoses. You'll be there a couple days, most likely.

I have a 2002 pontiac firebird v-6 3800. The heater hoses run into a part that is attached to the motor. I am trying to find the name of the part so I can replace it or find an engine diagram for that...

Paul, if you mean "radiator hose" then the part is the thermostat housing.

Perhaps the part is the bypass valve, which causes the heated water to "bypass" the heater core if the core is restricted.

Heater not blowing warm air in 1996 pontiac firebird.

one of three things can be wrong, your water pump may not be working, if so your car will over heat.. if not, its either jus a disconnected vacuum line or your heater core could be going out

1994 pontiac firebird HAS NO HEAT

Okay. warm up vehicle, get radiator hoses hot.  Turn on heater, fan on low.  Grip both rubber heater hoses close to the firewall, from the engine compartment side.  They should be too hot to hold for long.  If they are not hot, then you have a lack of coolant circulation to the heater hoses.  If they are hot then access heater core, behind glove box area.  Blend door which moves as you chose HOT or Cold, should be cable controlled, move the controls and be sure the door is actually moving. Keep me posted
